Help People ® , Inc. was founded in 1969 as a private research and development company to study human behavior, specifically in the service industry. It's stated purpose was to learn how to increase sales through service. After six years of research, the company began developing unique sales and personal growth programs using human behavior processes not taught in our schools. The results were immediate.
Stouffer's Greenway Plaza Hotel in Houston, Texas was the first to use the Help People ® program. It became the fastest growing hotel in the city's history. Productivity increased to the point that even the housekeeping department affected sales.
According to Stouffer surveys, 12% of the guests on any given night were there because of its housekeeping department. The largest cost center in the hotel became a profit center using the Help People ® programs to generate sales.
The company's original purpose has been validated over and over during 30 years with its many awards and successes.
In 1997, Financial Executive's Institute in Austin, TX determined that the human behavior training programs developed by Help People ® Inc. were more important to the business world and individuals than even high-tech processes. FEI selected Help People ® for it's "Most Creative Business Concept" award.
In addition to the United States Government acknowledging Help People ® ,'s accomplishments, USA Today honored Help People ® by naming it a semi-finalist in their Quality Cup competition. MCI and INC. Magazine selected Help People ® as one of the Top 10 Service companies in America.
Companies that complete and utilize the Help People ® programs can qualify for the Help People ® Seal of Approval.
